■ UK ‘Hornsea Project One’ in 2016 followed by ‘Project Two’
 

LS Cable & System(President & CEO Roe-hyun Myung) to supply high voltage cables to the world´s largest offshore wind farm
 
LS Cable & System has signed a contract with Ørsted to supply high voltage cables for Hornsea Project Two.
 
LS Cable & System will supply 350km of onshore high voltage cables including 400kV cable by 2021.
 
Hornsea Project Two will be located 89km off the Yorkshire Coast in the UK. When operational in 2022, it will be capable of supplying electricity to well over 1.3 million homes, and surpass its sister project, Hornsea Project One as the world’s biggest offshore wind farm. When both are completed, they will produce 2.4 GW(gigawatts) of electricity.
 
LS Cable & System is currently on site supplying similar cables to the Hornsea Project One.
